When Faith Lights the Way:The Quest to Restore Electricity to a War-Ravaged African Hospital was a three-year effort.  Reviewing the hundreds of e-mails and pictures to tell the true story of all the difficulties and successes was a daunting task.  After revising the work numerous times, I completed a draft I was willing to let someone read. Lindsey Barlow, herself a writer, said it was a good story, but it needed work.   After more revisions, it was time to try and find someone to publish my work.  In another miraculous occurrence, I found Fedd Books. They made changes, and I made revisions, so many revisions

For me, producing the book was as difficult as electrifying a war-damaged hospital in Liberia, but I am equally as proud. I hope you find something in the story that will inspire you, give you courage, and put you on the path to pursue your inner calling.

Stephen Vincent has a good heart. When\nhe heard about the devasting Liberian Civil War and how it destroyed lives and\nthe electrical power of Ganta\nUnited Methodist Hospital in Nimba, Northern Liberia, he immediately\nrecruited a team of dedicated men and led them to Liberia to help restore\nelectricity at the hospital. From this humanitarian gesture, hundreds of lives\nwere saved. In other words, the doctors, nurses, and staff returned to work and\ngave hope back to the thousands of people who were about e to face death. This\nis faith in action! The faith of Steve and his men deserves to be told. And\nexactly this is what this book is about. I congratulate Steve and his people\nfor touching and saving lives people in Liberia during a time of great need. I\nam a witness to their faith. May God bless them throughout their lives.
